ENZ – Series

Selected images from the ENZ series. The four works in this series were printed for Ocular, a solo exhibition at UAP Gallery, Loveland, Colorado, 2023–24.

A pale ivory lobe with a scalloped edge occupies the upper half of the frame, its lower rim breaking into glittering gold flecks. Below it a deep blue ring curves around a dark red-brown center, lit by a bright cyan crescent at the right. Clusters of blue droplets catch the light against black at the upper corners.

A thick ring of iridescent color — green, gold, and silver-blue — encircles a dark oval opening at the center, where pale streaks fall like combed hair. The ring's surface is finely granular and beaded with tiny bubbles. At the left edge, bands of rainbow color break into scalloped droplets against near-black.

A large pale dome, softly clouded in grey-green and blue, fills most of the frame with an almost matte surface. Small dark bubbles gather along its lower right edge, and a narrow band of gold and red glows at the bottom. Around it, electric blue and cyan forms scatter across a black ground, with a slim green shard at the left.

A brilliant cyan ring, densely beaded and granular, encircles a rust-red interior with a black crescent along its left edge. The surrounding field shades from olive to deep violet, scattered with a fine spray of pale specks at upper right. Clusters of vivid blue droplets crowd the outer corners.
