Projects

Projects gather work that reaches beyond the studio: exhibitions, curatorial explorations, printmaking, painting, and new media and generative art. Each project has its own page, updated as the work develops.

The Artists Among Us (2026)
Two works from the Mickey Finn series were selected for The Artists Among Us, Sotheby’s 2026 selling exhibition of work by its own staff, staged in Paris, London, and New York, where it was installed in the Breuer Building on Madison Avenue.

A gallery visitor in a cream T-shirt and trousers stands with his hands clasped behind his back, leaning in toward Mickey Finn by Will Martin, a square aluminum-plate print of a distorted cartoon face, hung on a white wall at Sotheby's New York.

Ocular at UAP Gallery (2023–24)
Ocular, a solo exhibition (November 23, 2023 – January 4, 2024) of images created through my image-to-image process. Gallery director Brian Kane, whose own career has long been rooted in vanguard digital art, saw the work as standing at the leading edge of this emerging technology.

Imploding Meaning (2023)
A group exhibition at Vassar College’s Palmer Gallery (January 19 – March 1, 2023), curated by Monica Church, with work by Monica Church, M. Pettee Olsen, Michael Oatman, and Rosanne Walsh. Taking its title from Charline von Heyl’s remark that abstraction is about imploding meaning, the show explored how we see and what we choose to make of it. This page documents the four artists’ work alongside a reflective essay by M. Pettee Olsen.
