A horizontal abstract composition dominated by two large rounded forms that read like weathered boulders or ore deposits. Each is built from deep black and umber, split by broad seams of molten-looking gold and bronze that catch the light along their upper and inner faces. Streaks of chalky white run through both masses and pool in the upper center of the frame. The surfaces are heavily textured, with a fractured, geological quality suggesting split rock or cooled slag. Gray smoke and mist swirl around and between the two forms, softening their outlines against a dark, atmospheric ground.
